Disclaimer & Cancellation Policy

The Scrub Mommy, LLC provides professional cleaning services for child and infant car seats, boosters, strollers, and related baby gear. By scheduling an appointment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Condition of Items: We do not accept any car seats, boosters, strollers, or other baby gear that contain or show signs of mold. Any such items presented at the time of service will be refused, and no refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, or failure to present the item(s) for cleaning, will result in a $25 inconvenience fee.
Liability: While every effort is made to clean items in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and CPST recommendations, The Scrub Mommy, LLC is not liable for any damage, wear, discoloration, or deterioration resulting from the cleaning process. The Scrub Mommy, LLC is also not responsible for voided manufacturer warranties, pre-existing damage, or defects in materials and workmanship. Customers acknowledge that normal wear and tear may be more apparent following the cleaning process. The Scrub Mommy, LLC maintains general liability insurance to provide customers with added peace of mind and protection in the unlikely event of accidental damage or loss during service.
Inspection of Items: All items will be visually inspected upon pickup or drop-off. Any pre-existing damage, missing parts, or concerns will be documented. If any issues are discovered during the cleaning process, customers will be notified within 24 hours of item pickup. The Scrub Mommy, LLC reserves the right to decline service if an item is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for cleaning.
Post-Cleaning Use & Installation: The Scrub Mommy, LLC does not reinstall car seats, boosters, or other baby gear after cleaning. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure proper and safe reinstallation in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The Scrub Mommy, LLC assumes no liability for the use, misuse, or improper installation of any item following cleaning.
Health & Safety: Only mild, non-toxic, and fragrance-free cleaning products are used during the cleaning process. However, The Scrub Mommy, LLC cannot guarantee that items will be free from all potential allergens, nor can we be held liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, or health-related issues that may arise from the use of cleaned items.

By booking an appointment with The Scrub Mommy, LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above.
